Follow Todville Road as it snakes along the Gulf Coast, and you'll find yourself at the southernmost tip of Seabrook. The tiny town is one of the best places to buy fresh seafood, and the queen bee of a cluster of markets here is Rose's. Travelers to and from Galveston take the Texas 146 back route just to stop in. Likewise, Houstonians who crave seafood head south to this no-frills shop where they elbow their way to the front of the sweaty crowd to select fish, shrimp, oysters and crabs from iced-down metal bins that display, quite literally, the catch of the day.
